GOEES Founder, Visits Kogi Education Commissioner, Applauds Development of Education Sector

The founder of Gbenga Oshoke Education Empowerment Scheme (GOEES), Hon. Gbenga Sunday Oshoke on Wednesday paid a visit to Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones.

 

The meeting was to officially present commemorative gifts from the Gbenga Oshoke Education Empowerment Scheme (GOEES) event held on December 27th, 2025.

 

Hon. Gbenga used the opportunity to discuss the continued impact of the scheme and shared commitment to fostering academic excellence and empowerment at Grassroots.

 

In his words, “I must express my deepest appreciation to His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State. I am profoundly grateful for the trust he has placed in us. ”

“It is through this platform provided by His Excellency that I have been empowered to reach back, touch lives, and contribute meaningfully to the growth of our people.

 

“Through the synergy of government support and the GOEES initiative, we are dedicated to ensuring that every student has the tools they need to succeed.

 

Hon. Gbenga who is the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Grassroots Mobilization applauded the commitment of Gov. Ododo to the development of Education.

 

Responding, the Commissioner thanked the Governor’s Aide for using his office to add value to the State education sector, and urged him to sustain the effort.
