Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has appointed 215 new aides.
The new appointments were announced in a notice issued and signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. (Mrs) Folashade Ayoade.
The appointments of the aides, who were drawn from the 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi State, according to the SSG, take effect from 29 September 2023.
A copy of the notice obtained on Tuesday showed that 26 persons were appointed as Special Advisers to the Governor, 128 were appointed Senior Special Assistants, and 51 were Special Assistants, among others.
Some of the newly appointed Special Advisers are James Modu Kaura (Steel Development); Siaka Ibrahim (Kogi State Indigenes in Diaspora); Nusa Yahaya (Local Government Matters Igbalamela/Odolu LGA); Abduluhai Yunusa (Local Government Matters, Ofu LGA); James Babatunde (Energy); Odoh Akowe (Political Education); Umar Isah Edibo (Mentoring); Oluwakayode Emmanuel (Girl Child Education); and Onu Salifu (Cultural Integration).
Others are Mohammed Attai Yusuf, Senior Special Assistant on Job Creation (Kogi East); Nuhu Isa Alifia (SSA, Human Capital Development II); Atule Amedu (Cooperatives II); Mumin Suleiman Ahmed (Road Maintenance); and Siaka Alih (Industrial Management), among others.
