A support group under the aegis of Olayinka Braimoh Bridge Movement has called on the police authorities to investigate the arrest and detention of the governorship candidate of the Action Alliance, last Saturday.

Addressing newsmen at the Party Secretariat in Lokoja, Coordinator of the group, Richard Olalekan Aro condemned the said arrest of Otunba Olayinka Braimoh on election day in Kabba.

Aro alleged that the unlawful arrest was orchestrated to deter the A.A. governorship candidate and cause disenchantment.

The coordinator appealed to the youths, women and well meaning individuals not to give up in the attempt to make Kogi State great.

He extolled the virtues of Olayinka Braimoh to include administrative acumen, compassion, clear vision of development, describing him as the bridge between all strata of the state.

Aro noted that the various setbacks witnessed during the election would not deter the A.A. candidate as he has the best practicable blueprint for Kogi’s development.
