The All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) in Ijumu Local Government Area has expressed deep sorry and sadness over the unfortunate demise of the Local Government Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Solomon Mayowa Oyewole.
The Chairman of the Association, Pastor Obafemi S.T in a statement through the Public Relations Officer, Rev. Bankole Orishafunmi said the death of Hon. Solomon is devastating, collosal and tragic, coming at a time that his political experience is most needed.

The All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) lack words to express how we feel following the death our beloved Brother, Hon. Solomon Mayowa Oyewole. The news is devastating, disheartening and sad. Ijumu has lost a great Personality, rare gem and Grassroots politician, who has contributed to the growth of the party.
We sympathise with the Aladuge of Aduge, his Chiefs and people of the Community as well as his immediate Past family.
The Association also extends it’s sympathy to the Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom, HRM. Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni, the Executive Chairman Ijumu LGA, Alh. Haruna Ibrahim and all Party Leaders in ijumu and Kogi State at large over the loss.
Ijumu AFAN described Hon. Oyewole Solomon as a dedicated party leader and a dependable compass in advancing the interests of the party and the people of Ijumu.
We pray Almighty God to grant him eternal rest and give his family, friends, party members, and the entire Ijumu community the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
May God avert such unfortunate loss.
