An Aspirant contesting for Ijumu Constituency in the next Kogi House of Assembly election, Hon. Olarenwaju Abodunde has debunked reports of his proported resignation from the race race.
Hon. Ola as fondly called in the statement and Video described the report as desperate and misleading.
HON. OLA ABODUNDE DISSOCIATES SELF FROM PURPORTED WITHDRAWAL FROM IJUMU I HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY RACE FOR OTF*
Hon. Ola Abodunde has firmly dissociated himself from reports alleging his withdrawal from the Ijumu I (Gbede) State House of Assembly race in support of Obanewo Titus Femi (OTF), describing the claim as false, misleading, and a complete figment of imagination.
He categorically stated that he remains fully in the race and has not, at any point, withdrawn his ambition or entered into any form of consensus arrangement as being speculated.
Hon. Abodunde reaffirmed that his loyalty remains 100% with the party and the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, whose leadership and directives he continues to hold in the highest regard and considers paramount.
While reacting to the development, he described the purported withdrawal as a rude shock, misleading, and an unfortunate attempt to misinform the public and create unnecessary confusion within the political space.
He therefore urged party faithful, supporters, and the general public to disregard such false claims, reiterating his unwavering commitment to due process, internal democracy, and the collective interest of the people of Ijumu I Constituency.
