Ijumu LG Chairman Signs 2025 Budget of Over N6b into Law

The Chairman of Ijumu Local Government has signed the 2025 budget, totaling ₦6,181,036,790, as passed by the 7th Legislative Council of the Local Government into law.

 

The Budget of Revitalization, Economic Growth, and Development” is planned towards key areas such as infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment.

The Chairman restated his commitment to the well-being and growth of Ijumu Local Government, emphasizing that his administration would ensure the effective implementation of the budget to foster economic growth, attract investments, and improve the overall quality of life for residents.

 

He emphasized the administration’s Focus on infrastructure development, financial empowerment for residents, and fostering social and economic growth. He highlighted the importance of providing opportunities for youths, children, men, and women to contribute meaningfully to the local government’s development.

 

He assured the people of Ijumu that his administration would prioritize transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the execution of the budget. Calling on all stakeholders, including community leaders, civil society organizations, and the private sector, he urged collective efforts in supporting government initiatives for successful implementation.

 

The Chairman further stated that the budget reflects the collective aspirations of the people, reaffirming his administration’s dedication to policies that will uplift the standard of living, create job opportunities, and enhance economic stability.
