The successful rescue of one Mr. Adekunle, who was abducted in Iyara, headquarters of Ijumu Local Government Area by hunters in Yagba West is a milestone that has indeed shown that the Chairman truly means business.
The Administration of Alh. Ibrahim during a joint operation involving the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and local hunters, arrested about 15 herders attempting to establish an illegal settlement around the Iyara community.
The suspects have since been handed over to security personnel for further interrogation and investigation.
