The Ijumu Local Government Traditional Council has expressed its deep Condolence to the Senator Smart Adeyemi over the death of his Mother, Mama Victoria Adeyemi.
According to a statement by the Chairman of the Council, HRM. Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni, the Council received the news of her passing unto glory with rude shock, having known the critical role mothers play in the family and society.
The statement reads “The Ijumu Local Government Traditional Council under wishes to extend our heart felt condolence to our Distinguished son and Senator, Smart Adeyemi over the unfortunate passing unto glory of his lovely mother. We sympathize with him and the family at the moment of grief.
No matter how loving and outstanding Human beings are, we will all die as it is appointed for all mortals to face death.
We have lost a rare gem, we have lost a virtuous woman and Amazon of Iyara land.
He said the demise of Mama Adeyemi has created a vacuum too difficult to fill as she will be greatly missed.
While praying God to grant the family the fortitude to bear this collosal loss, Oba Ayeni also prayed for the repose of the soul of Mama.
