Ijumu Traditional Council Fetes Gov. Ododo on 2nd Anniversary

The Ijumu Local Government Traditional Council, chaired by HRM. Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni, has congratulated Alhaji Usman Ododo on the second Anniversary of his inauguration as the fifth Executive Governor of Kogi State.

 

In a statement, the Monarch said the people of Kogi State have enjoyed dividends of democracy, saying the State has been more united under Ododo’s leadership.

 

He noted that Ijumu people are very grateful for the love demonstrated by the Governor to sons and daughters of the Local Government with appointments as well as embarking on projects that have direct impact on the people.

 

According to him, remarkable successes have been recorded under the present administration in the last two years with the Governor providing purposeful leadership.

 

Oba Ayeni stated that “There’s no doubt that you are God sent and your emergence as attested to by many is an act of Almighty God.”

 

He also congratulated the Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Oyibo, for working hard to deliver the vision with Gov. Ododo.

 

“May Almighty God grant you more wisdom and good health to move our dear State to an enviable height of Development, peace and prosperity,” he prayed.

 

“We assured you that we will continue to support your administration by maintaining peace in our Local Government as our own contribution to your administration.

 

Oba Ayeni also congratulated Alhaji Yahaya Bello for having a Worthy Successor and wished him all the best in his future endeavors.
