Salman Donates N2 million For Building of Okebukun Civic Centre

The Member Representing Kabba-Bunu/ Ijumu Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, Hon. Salman Idris has donated two million naira to Okebukun community.

 

Hon. Salman made the donation during the annual Okebukun day on Saturday to support the completion of the Community Civic Centre.

He promised his continued support for the project to ensure timely completion.

 

The Olu of Okebukun, Oba Timothy Ige Omonile thanked the National Assembly member for his kind gesture and the wonderful things he has been doing in the federal constituency.

 

In the same vain, the Kogi state commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones who was also the Chief host of the occasion, thanked Hon. Salman for his kind gesture to the community and assured him of the judicious use of the funds donated.

 

The occasion which was chaired by the Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Prof. Usman Salisu Ogbo had in attendance, Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Asiru Idris, the Chairman of Kabba-Bunu Local Government, Barrister Zacheaus Dare Michael, the State Security Adviser, comdr Jerry Omodara, the Obara of kabba, Oba Dele Owoniyi and host of other dignitaries.
