Dr. Muyi Aina, a Former Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Kogi West Senatorial Primary, Dr. Muyi Aina says he will soon announce his next political move after adequate consultation.
Dr. Aina disclosed this during his thank you tour of his supporters, Canvassers and Coordinators in Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency as well as Yagba West Local Government.

The former Aspirant said although the outcome of the primary election was less than expectation, he has put it behind and now focus on the future.
According to him, the visit is to fulfil his promise to be with his teaming supporters whether he wins or not, saying he sees them as members of his family.
Dr. Aina the Muyi Aina Campaign Organisation has now metamorphosed into a political movement to reckon with in the politics of Kogi West and Kogi State in general, pointing out that the group will not allow anyone to hijack the mandate of the people in the next political dispensation.
He charged his Coordinators as well as all that believed in his vision to be the voice of the people not to be discouraged with the result but be focused and keep hope alive.
“I don’t want you to be sad, for me to be a Senator is not a d¹¹o or die affair. My plan was to be a voice of the people, will use the lessons learnt in the future.
Dr. Aina told them to join hands with him in building a political movement that cannot be wished away.
The Director General of the campaign organisation, Mr. Rotimi Olugbenga stated that the visit was in appreciation of their unwavering support even in the face of intimidation.
He described the visit as unusual, unprecedented and commendable, saying Dr. Aina is a leader that is tested and trusted.
Kamaldeen Toyin from Ijumu Local Government in his submission said in the history of Kogi West, Dr. Aina is the first to “contest and come back to say thank despite the fact that he didn’t win”.”
According to him, the ex Aspirant has also place his name on record for defeating a sitting Senator in the contest, adding that only him stood tall without stain among the contestants.
Chief Richard Aina of Ward 1 Oke Egbe in Yagba West Local Government, who commended the thank you tour, saying they are consoled with the visit.
According to him, with the thank you visit, it shows that the Politician will go far in his political career, assuring of their unflinching support.
