The Provost of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba, has expressed profound appreciation to all who celebrated with him on his birthday.
In an appreciation message on Saturday, Dr. Fashagba said he gives all thanks to Almighty God, the giver of life, for the privilege of marking another year.
He specially thanked the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for the opportunity to serve as Provost, saying he, his family and political associates remain forever indebted to the governor.
The Provost appreciated everyone who sent prayers and goodwill messages, as well as those who gathered in Lokoja for his birthday celebration and those who honoured him at his residence in Bida, Niger State.
He also thanked the Leader of Ijumu Local Government Area, Hon. Funsho Olumoko, whom he described as humility personified, and members of the Ogidi Omo Movement for gracing the occasion despite short notice.
Dr. Fashagba extended gratitude to the Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Sunday Faleke, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and other appointees of the governor.
He further thanked the Chairman of Ijumu Local Government, Hon. Haruna Ibrahim, Principal Officers, staff and students of the College, the Rector of Federal Polytechnic Bida and members of the Fashagba Mandate Group in Bida, as well as friends and political associates.
He prayed God to bless all for their outpouring of love.
