The Iyara Community, the headquarters of Ijumu Local Government Area has celebrated with Prof. Dapo Asaju, the Bishop of Ilesha Anglican Diocese as Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council of Precious Cornerstone University Ibadan.
National President of Iyara Development Association (IDA), Alh. Aliyu Badaki PhD in a statement described the appointment as a reward for years of hard work, dedication and meritorious service to God and humanity.
According to Alh. Badaki, the appointment did not come as a surprise as the Bishop has paid his dues in service to the country.
He said, the Community is happy to identify with Prof. Asaju on the well deserved appointment, praying God to grant him wisdom and sound health to pilot the affairs of his new office.
