Kabba Explosion: Olorunleke Calls for Calm, Describes Incident as Unfortunate

The Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon. Moses Olorunleke has called for calm after an explosion that claimed a life and injured 12 persons at a beer joint in Kabba on Wednesday night.

The explosion is coming about a month after yet to be identified Gunmen killed two Policemen on patrol along Kabba-Ayere Road.

The Chairman in a statement described the incident as unfortunate and reiterated the determination of government to ensure that such does not happen again.

Hon. Moses, who paid separate visit to some of the injured person at the hospital, sympathized with them as well as those who lost loved ones.

He expressed regret over disaster, saying the Local Government cannot be a breeding ground for the men of the underworld.

According to him, everything humanly possible will be done by the Governor Yahaya Bello led Administration to sustain its success story in the security sector.

The Council boss enjoined the people of Kabba/Bunu and its environs not to panic but remain calm, peaceful and law abiding which the people are known for.

The Council Boss urged the residents to go about there normal business, adding that Investigations are currently ongoing to unravel the cause of the explosion.
