Kogi APGA Condemns Okene Bomb Blast

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Kogi State has condemned in strong terms, the Thursday explosion in Okene that claimed 3 lives.

 

Chairman of APGA in the State, Abdulazeez Arikora in a statement made available to The Drum Reporters, described the blast as barbaric, evil and unfortunate.

According to him, no one has the moral justification for taking the life of anyone under any guise, saying the act should be condemned by lovers of peace and progress of the State.

He called on security agencies to unravel the cause and those behind the blast to ensure that perpetrators are brought to book.

The APGA Chairman sympathized with the Government and people of Kogi State over the explosion and prayed God to console the families of those who lost their loved ones.

Arikora urged the people of the State to be security conscious and support security agencies by reporting strange persons to appropriate authorities.
