Kogi Environment Commissioner Assumes Duty, Promises To Tackle Ecological Challenges

Kogi Commissioner of Environment and Ecological Management, Engr. Joseph Oluwasegun says the present administration is committed to addressing ecological problems bedeviling the State.

Engr. Oluwasegun stated this while addressing Newsmen shortly after assuming office on Monday in Lokoja.

Following his appointment as the Commissioner of Environment and Ecological Development by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Engineer Olusegun, who was accompanied by his supporters arrived the Ministry on Monday morning.

The Commissioner said, although he is not new to the Ministry, he is ready to collaborate with relevant agencies to address ecological problems in the State.

According to him, the present administration in the State is committed to a clean and serene environment and solicited the cooperation of management and Staff.

Engineer Oluwasegun assured that he will justify the confidence reposed in him and expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity given to him to serve

He also thanked former Governor Yahaya Bello and incumbent Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the trust reposed in him, promising to build on the legacies of his predecessor.
