Kogi Governor Swears in New Acting Chief Judge

The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Monday sworn in Justice Josiah Majebi as the State Acting Chief Judge.

Justice Josiah Majebi takes over from Justice Olorunfemi who retired on Sunday 26th June 2022 after a meritorious service to the State.

Bello at the ceremony charged the erudite jurist to discharge justice without fear or favour.

While he described the Acting Chief Judge as a man of impeccable character, the Governor urged him to sustain the feat, assuring the Judiciary of the present administration support.

Responding, Justice Josiah Majebi while assuring of quick dispensation of justice, reiterated his determination to uphold the tenet of the judiciary.
