Kogi Govt. Gives 7-Days Notice For Outdoor Advertisement Registration

Kogi State Signage and Advertisment Agency has issued notice to operators of outdoor advertisement to register their adverts.

This is contained in a statement by the General Manager of the Agency, Hon. Richard Osaseyi and obtained by The Drum Reporter.

“Kogi State Signage and Advertisment Agency hereby issues this notice to all outdoor Advertisment Practitioners as well as owners of billboards to comply fully with the regulations of the Agency by perfecting Registration process with the Agency and paying all relevant and prescribed fees, the statement said.

“Furthermore, all owners of Billboards and Banners displayed in Public places are enjoined to proceed to the Agency to pay all the prescribed fees required by the Agency for the continual use of these Advertising platforms.

“Everyone affected by this notice is urged to comply with this directive within Seven(7) days of this notice. After the expiration of this notice,all sign posts,billboards and banners without the approval of the Agency will be defaced at the cost of the owner.

“The General Manager of the Agency,Hon. Osaseyi Richard urges all Political parties,religious organizations, support groups,business owners,etc to comply strictly with this directive as defaulters will be made to face the consequences of their actions.
