Kogi State Government has promised to sustain its investment in the Security of lives and property of the people of the State.
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo made the promise when he received the Executive Intelligence Management Course Nineteen Syndicate, who were in the State on a study tour.
Represented by the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, the Government expressed appreciation to Security Agencies for their efforts in making the State safe.
He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for prioritizing the security of Kogi State through the assistance rendered by the office of the National Security Adviser.
Governor Ododo explained that his administration will continue to do everything humanly possible to ensure safety of lives and property.
The Study tour team involves thirty-six participants and officials, from DSS, NIS, MFA, EFCC, FRSC, FAAN, medical, and support staff.
The study tour is part of the course curriculum and will focus on intelligence management, security governance, and community engagement, using Kogi State as a case study.
They used the opportunity to visit the Maigari of Lokoja, Federal University Lokoja and Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), among others.
