A Frontline Aspirant for Kogi State Gubernatorial election come November 2023, Prince Dayo Akanmode has condemned in strong terms the explosion that rocked Kabba in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area on Wednesday night.
The explosion according to reports lead to the death of 3 persons while others were injured.
Prince Akanmode in a statement made available to Newsmen in Lokoja the State Capital, described the diaster as barbaric, unfortunate and alien to the people of Okun land and Kogi State at large.
He charged security agencies to ensure the perpetrators are brought to book in no distant time, urging the people to assist security agencies with relevant information that would help nip the rising insecurity in the bud.
In his words “The explosion is a terrible situation, this is not a time to play blame game as the time has come for us to come together and contribute meaningfully to the security of lives and property of our respective Communities.”
The All Progressives Congress Chieftain sympathized with the family of those who lost loved ones in the Incident and prayed God to grant those that sustained wounds quick recovery.
