Kogi Monarch Calls for Help as Flood Submerge Houses In Itobe

The District Head of Itobe in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State Alh. Saliu Adaji says houses and farmlands have been submerged by Flood in the Area.

 

Alh. Saliu stated this shortly after an on-the-spot assessment of the Flood in the District.

He called on Government, Corporate bodies and stakeholders to support those affected by the disaster, describing the flood as devastating.

 

 

According to him, thousands of people have been displaced by the water and are currently homeless.

 

He noted that the flood affected almost every part of Itobe district particularly Olukudu, Ganamazu, Kabawa, and Labrafu.
