Kogi NSCDC Boss Joins Other Chief Security Officers to Pay Sallah Homage on Governor Bello

The  Kogi State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Kogi State Command Lokoja, Ahmad Ahmad Gandi on Friday joined Governor Yahaya Bello and other heads of Security to observe the Eid prayer to mark the end of the Ramadan fast.

This is contained in a statement by the Command Public Relations Officer, Alex Agiri and made available to The Drum Reporters in Lokoja.

Gandi in the company of other Security heads in the State, were physically present at the Muhammadu Buhari square.

Shortly after the Eid prayers, all the Security heads proceeded in convoy to the Government house to pay homage to the Governor of at the Government House.

The Governor took his time to appreciate the performances of all the Security agencies in the State. Governor Bello noted that, Kogi State is relatively peaceful due to the collaboration, commitment and synergy to fight insecurity by all the Security agencies in the State.

Earlier on, the State Commandant Ahmad Ahmad Gandi went round the State Capital to assess the deployment made on some Eid prayer ground within Lokoja, flash points and other areas of the Corps core mandates, the Divisional Offices were not Left out in the Sallah duty as Officers and men were seen providing Security while the Muslim faithfuls observe their prayers at various Eid ground at the Local Government Areas in Kogi State.
