A frontline Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Aspirant, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi, has expressed sadness over the passing of Pharm. Nasiru Muhammed, the former Chief of Staff (CoS) to Gov. Idris Wada, the immediate past Governor of Kogi State.
In a condolence message issued to newsmen on Monday, Awoniyi expressed great regret over the demise of the former CoS, and prayed the Almighty God to grant the departed soul eternal rest.
Awoniyi, a former Kogi Deputy Governor, commiserated with the immediate and extended family of the late Mohammed over the huge loss.
The PDP governorship aspirant described the deceased as a humble and intelligent personality who was very efficient and unassuming when he held sway as the CoS.
The former deputy governor also praised late pharmacist for contributing his quota to the development of Kogi when he served as the State Focal Person, MDGs, before becoming the CoS to the former Gov. Idris Wada.
Awoniyi urged the family of the late CoS to take solace in the fact that late pharmacist, left indelible marks on the sands of time, and asked that they be consoled by the positive legacies he left behind.
Awoniyi also consoled the entire people of Kogi, describing death as a necessary end to all mortals.
