The Ijumu House of Assembly 1 seat ambition of Hon. Femi Esemikose, received a significant boost as the Ayetoro Gbede Traditional Council threw their full weight behind him, declaring him the community’s candidate.

 

The Declaration came during a strategic visit and high-level engagement between the candidate and the traditional council in Ayetoro Gbede.

 

Speaking during the engagement, Hon. Esemikose Femi thanked the Traditional Council for their efforts in sustaining peace as the political process progresses.

As a proud Son of the Soil, Born and Bred in Ayetoro Gbede he spoke about his inseparable bound with Community while highlighting his record of impactful contributions including job facilitation, community support initiatives, and sustained grassroots engagement.

He further expressed his readiness to deepen these efforts, noting that the mandate to represent the constituency would not only be a personal milestone but a strategic opportunity to accelerate socio-economic development across the Community and area.

 

Responding, the Olu of Ayetoro Gbede acknowledged that every contest ultimately produces a winner, emphasizing the importance of unity and collective purpose.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Ayetoro Gbede Traditional Council ratified and declared Hon. Femi Esemikose as the community’s candidate for the Ijumu 1 State Constituency.
