The State has had its own unique history that brought life and prosperity gradually to the State despite its challenges.
Kogi State has had great leaders, which has brought the state into the limelight and standing tall above it’s equal.
The present Administration has even raised the State higher which the Global world are looking forward to work and invest in it.
The imagined of Kogi State International Airport which has be lingering on for years is now becoming a reality due to the bold Steps of our visionary leader the Chief Servant of the State His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Governor Ododo has done the he State proud by empowering and boosting the economy of the State, which means more jobs creation even for the future generations to come.
Since the Propose International Airport has been awarded to China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), with this The State Ministry of Works has also awarded the access Major Road to them because they have followed and met all the criteria and requirements of the project which other four companies also bidding for it.
Given the Latter for the actualization of the proposed Access Road project for the Kogi State International Airport to CCECC was the Permanent Secretary Engr. Abdulsalam Mohammed Sagir, who emphasized that is a major and significant project that only the best deserve to handle it.
Engr. Sagir advised the contractor to give in their best because the Ministry works always deliver on its Mandate by providing adequate services and projects to the people of the State and society at large.
Assuring Engr. Sagir and the entire people of the State, is the Project Manager of CCECC Mr Austin Qi, who express his gratitude to the State Government and appreciate Ministry of Works for the Confidence imposed on them adding that Kogites are great people to work with and so the project will be delivered at it right time. The commencement of civil works is a testament of more brighter days for the state and its economic growth
