Kogi Women Group To Celebrate End Of Year Get-together November 16th

A Women Group known as Able Women For Good Governance, Kogi State is to celebrate its end of year get together on the sixteenth of November, 2024.

 

A statement by the President of the Association, Mrs Grace Daniel and Secretary Mrs Charity Abalaka in Lokoja said the event at the classic celebration plaza, off Ankpa Road, opposite Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba Kogi state beginning at 10am.

 

The statement named his royal highness The Ogohi Onu Anyigba, Alhaji Abu Shaibu Okolo as the royal father of the day, while the deputy speaker Kogi state house of Assembly, Madam Comfort Eqwaba is the mother of the day.

According to the statement, former chairman Igalamela Odolu local government, Alhaji Ali Atabo is expected to chair the occasion, while the state commissioner of humanitarian affairs, Hajia Rabietu Okute is the lady chairperson.

 

It also named the House of Representatives member, Dekina Bassa constituency, hon, Paul Gowon Haruna, honorable Lawal Akus, Hon Matthew Igono, Hon. Major Enefola, Dr. Mrs Rekiya Abaji as Guest of honours.

 

The statement urged all women groups in the state to be punctual and celebrate with one of their own.

 

It added that the event will also feature a visit to the orphanage homes.

The statement named the State Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salihu Oyibo as special guest of honour, while His Royal Highness, the Ogohi Onu Anyigba, Alhaji Abu Shaibu Okolo is the royal father of the day.

According to the statement, House of Representative member, Dekina/Bassa constituency, Honourable Gowon Haruna (IJN), Hon. Lawal Akus, Hon. Matthew Igono, Hon. Major Enefola and Doctor Mrs Rekiya Abaji are Guest of honours.

 

The Deputy Speaker, Kogi State house of Assembly, Madam Comfort Eqwaba is the mother of the day, while the Chairman, Dekina local Government Area, honourable John Urah ikani as the chief host.
