KOSU Student, Eritomiwa, Wins ICAN Gospel Talent Hunt

A Student of Kogi State University Kabba,Eritomiwa Joshua, also known as “Tommy Prestige” has won the 2025 ICAN Gospel Talent Hunt at Destiny Way Ministries (DMI), Lokoja.

 

According to Oshaloto J. Tade, Public Relations Officer of the University, the event featured various performances, including music, dance, drama, and spoken word.

 

Eritomiwa, a Theatre Arts student of the University, impressed the judges with his electrifying fire dancing, blending artistry, spirituality, and showmanship, captivating the audience at every stage of the competition.

Expressing gratitude, he thanked God, his parents—especially his mom—KOSU community, and Vice Chancellor Prof. K.I.T. Eniola for their support. He also acknowledged his mentor, Dr. Stephen Adewumi, and the Theatre Arts department. He dedicated his victory to his fans and promised to use his talent to spread the gospel.

 

As the winner, Eritomiwa received N300,000, other cash gifts, a performance contract with International Praise Jamz in Abuja, and a full scholarship to continue his academic program at Kogi State University, Kabba.

 

The event was attended by dignitaries, theatre practitioners, students, press members, and representatives from ICAN GTHK centers in Kogi State.
