KSCOEA Provost, Dr. Fashagba Hosts Muslim Staff, Students for Iftar

Provost of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa (KSCOEA), Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba, has hosted Muslim Staff and Students to a Ramadan Iftar (breaking of fast).

 

The gesture is in appreciation of the support of the Muslim Community to the administration of the Provost since he assumed office March last year.

The gathering was a platform to reaffirm the importance of religious harmony, unity, and peaceful coexistence within the college community.

During the event, Dr. Fashagba encouraged students and staff to embrace mutual respect, understanding, and tolerance among people of different faiths.

 

He noted that educational institutions should serve as models of unity where diversity is celebrated and peaceful interaction is promoted.

 

The Provost also highlighted the spiritual significance of Ramadan, describing it as a period of reflection, self-discipline, compassion, and generosity.

 

He urged members of the college community to use the season as an opportunity to strengthen bonds of friendship and foster an atmosphere of cooperation across religious and cultural lines.

 

The Iftar gathering provided a platform for interaction among staff and students, reinforcing the college’s commitment to inclusivity, unity, and sustained peace within and beyond the campus.
