Cdre. Michael Folusho Daniel (MFD) Rtd, has congratulated Hon. Ademola Bello and his Vice, on their resounding victory in the Saturday’s October 19, local government elections in Kogi State.

MFD in a congratulatory message on Sunday in Lokoja, described their triumph as a shared victory by all tye people of Mopamuro land.

“I say a big congrats to our new Chairman and indeed to all the people of Mopamuro LGA. It a shared victory by all of us. This is a new dawn and I have great joy in your taking over the leadership of Mopamuro LGA at a time like this.

“I have implicit confidence in your ability and capacity to steer the ship of this great LGA to safety in the present turbulent waters.

“I need not tell you Mr Chairman that the times we are in now are hard for workers, farmers, retirees and the common people of Mopamuro.

“Please use your office at best you can, to alleviate the sufferings of the masses, more especially the rural poor majority. Ensure their renumeration are paid timely and fully at all times.

“The teachers, workers, retirees and the unemployed youths and women look up to you. You may not be able to solve all our problems but please give them some measure of hopes. Listen to them. Not every problem requires money. Some just need understanding , empathy and advice.

“What I am saying is that you should please make yourself accessible and available as much as you can.

“Our people are difficult but do your best and let it be seen so. Talk to us, let us know your constraints as your constituents. Consult widely and be properly guided in your decisions.

“Before I conclude let me say this, that our major problem now is insecurity. Next is hunger, as our youths no longer go to farm. Our ancestral lands are gradually been sold out to foreigners.

“We might soon become tenants on our God-given land. May God help you to stop the sale of our land in large quantities to outsiders. Try and set realistic objectives with achievable targets.

“There are lots more to say but I am sure you need some rest for now. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you huge success and God’s speed in the onerous tasks ahead.

“We are praying for your success. God bless you and grant you the wisdom of Solomon in the administration of this small but very conscious LGA,” MFD said.
