The dream of Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Kogi Central to represent the Senatorial District suffered setback on Sunday after her Spokesman, David Itopa resigned.

Itopa in a statement obtained by The Drum Reporters did not give reasons for the action.

The statement reads “I want to sincerely use this opportunity to thank leaders and members of my Party, the Peoples Democratic  (PDP), my family members and everyone who stood by me and reached out to me throughout my trying times.”

“It is not news that I have always been and will always remain a committed member of the PDP, however, for personal reasons, I wish to tender my resignation from the Kogi Central PDP and Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Campaign Council as the head of Media committee.
