Nigeria Broadcast Industry has Lost a Giant, Senator Smart Adeyemi Mourns Ex NBC DG, Tom Adaba

Senator Smart Adeyemi, has extended his condolences to the family of the Late Prof. Tom Adaba, former Director General of National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), who died at the early hours of Saturday.

 

Senator Adeyemi, a former National President of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) condoled with the people of Kogi Central, Kogi State as well as Nigeria Broadcast Industry over the unfortunate loss of the Media Icon.

 

The Former Lawmaker, who represented Kogi West at the Senate, described Prof. Adaba as a humble man and a disciplinarian, saying his death is a great loss to the Broadcast industry.

 

“An icon in the profession, a highly respected figure with enviable track records of service!! Humble and discipline,one of the best of his generation in the broadcast industry!! A pride to us and indeed to our state!! A gentleman, very loving and Godfearing man!! Leaving behind landmark achievements for the present and up coming generation of media practitioners!!indeed he was one of our best by all considerations!! We shall miss him greatly
