Oba Ibeun Supports Kogi West Senator’s Effort On Power Supply As COET, Mopa Site Is Cleared

The Elulu of Mopa, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun has consolidated the effort of the Senator representing Kogi West, Sunday Karimi in providing solution to the issue of lack of power supply.

On Monday, Oba Ibeun received a team led by the Managing Director of New Moon Nigeria Limited, Akeweje of Oggaland, Chief Oluseyi Omotosho to investigate into the needs and challenges of power supply in Kogi West as facilitated by Senator Sunday Karimi.

While receiving the power team, Oba Ibeun was on ground inspecting the clearing of site of the recently relocated College of Education (Technical), Mopa.

Arc. Abayomi Daniel who is member of the Elulu Advisory Assembly (EAA) said hr was influenced by Oba Ibeun being the Elulu of Mopa to sponsor the moving of earth moving vehicles vehicles to Mopa to clear the COE(T), Mopa site.

On phone conversation, he added that he is a Mopa born yet he is influenced by the personality of Oba Ibeun. He urged Mopa to support him if they really love Mopa and wants her development.

Oba Ibeun said the take off of COET, Mopa is important to the survival of Kogi State, stressing the importance of technical education contemporary economy.

He also appreciated Senator Sunday Karimi for his efforts in ensuring dark areas in Okunland are lightened up.
