The Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to the safety and wellbeing of the state’s residents during his representation at the burial ceremony of the late Major Joe Ajayi in Odo-Ape Bunu.
The Governor was represented by the State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), who conveyed the Governor’s heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
Commander Omodara, in his remarks, highlighted the Governor’s dedication to enhancing security measures across the state, noting significant strides made in recent times to ensure the protection of lives and property. Major Ajayi who was given a military burial by the 12 Brigade Nigeria Army, Lokoja, was witnessed by the APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary – Hon. Duro Meseko, the National President of Bunu Development Association – Pastor Kolawole Johnson, Officers from the 12-Brigade Nigeria Army, amongst many others.
