Ododo Attends Burial of Late Major Joe Ajayi, Reaffirms Commitment to Security and Wellbeing of Kogi People

The Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to the safety and wellbeing of the state’s residents during his representation at the burial ceremony of the late Major Joe Ajayi in Odo-Ape Bunu.

 

The Governor was represented by the State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), who conveyed the Governor’s heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.

 

Commander Omodara, in his remarks, highlighted the Governor’s dedication to enhancing security measures across the state, noting significant strides made in recent times to ensure the protection of lives and property. He emphasized that Major Ajayi’s sacrifice would not be in vain, as the state continues to prioritize the safety and security of its citizens.

 

The Governor’s message reflects his administration’s focus on creating a conducive environment for the people of Kogi State to thrive. While paying tribute to the deceased, the Governor’s representative reiterated the government’s resolve to build on the progress achieved in security and other critical areas.

Major Ajayi who was given a military burial by the 12 Brigade Nigeria Army, Lokoja, was witnessed by the APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary – Hon. Duro Meseko, the National President of Bunu Development Association – Pastor Kolawole Johnson, Officers from the 12-Brigade Nigeria Army, amongst many others.
