The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, has hailed the leadership qualities of Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, saying his leadership excellence cannot be separated from his personality traits.
Fanwo made this known while receiving an Award as a High Impact Commissioner from the Center for Ethics and Self Value Orientation at his office in Lokoja.
He described the administration of Governor Ododo as a “government of conscience” committed to good governance and accountability to the people.
“The Governor has configured his administration to be accountable to the people. He has continued to harp on the fact that we are all servants of the people. He is the Chief Servant of Kogi State.
“When you study His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, you will understand that leadership and personality traits are interwoven. A good person will most likely be a good leader,” he said.

Fanwo thanked the organization for identifying with the achievements of the Governor and urged the people of the state to continue to keep faith with the administration, noting that public trust in government is anchored on delivering on promises.
“During his campaign, the Governor promised to fix the Oganenigwu Road, which had been abandoned for decades. Today, work is progressing steadily on the road. When a leader fulfills his promises, the people will naturally trust him,” he added.
The Commissioner also expressed appreciation to the organization for finding him worthy of the award, dedicating it to the Governor and staff of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Earlier in his remarks, the Executive Director of the Center, Prince Salihu Musa Yakubu, said the administration of Governor Ododo has changed the narrative of governance in the state.
“Generally, we have seen transparency and accountability, and that is already endearing him to the people. We are proud to identify with that as we find you worthy of this award.
“Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo is doing a great job and has made it possible for the people to see and hear about what is happening in the state,” he said.
The event was attended by top government officials, including the Special Adviser to the Governor on Electronic Media, Hon. Yusuf Ohiare, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, the Technical Assistant to the Ministry, and other Directors.
