Ododo’s Aide Loses Father at 105, Burial Arrangements Released

Death has occurred of Chief Jacob Salihu Onuwe of Epoto Clan from Uboro, Eika district in Okehi Local Government of Kogi State.

 

Aged one hundred and five, Chief Salihu Onuwe passed away on the 7th of October 2024 at his residence at Oziokutu Quatres in Adavi Local Government in a brief illness.

A family statement jointly signed by Hon. Mrs Cecelia Cook and Tunde Salihu explained that the Service of Songs holds on Thursday, 17th October 2024, at his residence at four o’clock in the evening.

Funeral service takes place the following day at the Cathedral Church of Saint Andrews Okene to be followed by
Interment at his residence, while reception holds immediately at same venue.

He is survived by a wife, children, including Hon Cecilia Cook, immediate past Kogi STETSCOM Executive Chairman and Mrs. Janet Samuel, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State on Electronic Media, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
