Some members of the People’s Democratic Party, and other political parties in Oke-Offin Bunu, Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, that recently dumped the umbrella and embrace broom in Oke-Offin Bunu, on Saturday met with Commander Jerry Omodara in his Country Home.
Jerry Omodara, who arrived the area amidst cheers and rapturous welcome, assured the decampees that they would be treated tenderly and given equal privileges just like founding party members alluding that the APC Kogi State is a party that doesn’t discriminate.
He stressed that their interests would be protected in the party, noting that the APC is the only truly democratic party in Nigeria.
The Leader of the decampees, said they made the decision and are convinced to join the ruling party because, they identified Governor Ododo’s leadership acumen and political trajectory, which reflects his firmness to always do the right thing.
They declared their loyalty to the APC, Jerry Omodara, and Governor Ododo-led administration, and also hailed the security chief for his giant strides since he assumed office in 2016, stressing that they’re ready to give him every needed support going forward.
Jerry Omodara, also used the occasion to officially present Hon. Foluke Ayinmode, the Olle/Oke-Offin Ward APC’s Councilorship Candidate to unit members, asked that they give her every needed support.
