Once vibrant and peaceful communities are now engulfed in fear, with residents living in constant anxiety of attacks and abductions.

The situation in Okun land is increasingly desperate. Reports indicate that banditry has become rampant in many of our towns and villages, with armed groups terrorizing innocent civilians and disrupting economic activities vital for sustenance. Families are being forced into hiding, personally displaced from their homes, with many fleeing to urban centers or neighboring states in search of safety and a semblance of normalcy. The reign of terror imposed by these criminals has brought our land to its knees, and it is a disheartening reality that our name, embodying strength, now resonates with vulnerability and powerlessness.
*A Call to Action*
It is imperative that we rise to reclaim our land from the grip of these marauders. We can no longer afford to be passive observers; we must join forces as a united people to advocate for immediate and effective action from our leaders. Urgent measures must be taken, including increased security presence within our communities, systematic intelligence gathering, and active community engagement to confront this escalating crisis.
*What Can We Do?*
