In a statement by the Convener, Deacon Otitoju, ODI said the future of Okunland demands that indigenes come together, listen to one another, bridge their differences and build a stronger sense of unity, describing the event as more than a gathering but an opportunity for Okun people to share ideas, confront challenges and shape a common vision for a united and prosperous Okunland.
The group called on all Okun indigenes to attend the dialogue devoid of political or partisan considerations.
“Come as an Okun man. Come as an Okun woman. Leave your party at the door. Bring your love for Okunland inside,” the statement read.
