Ologidi Confers Jewel of South East Yagba, Ebun Joel With Chieftaincy Title

A retired Director in Kogi State Civil Service, Chief Ebun Joel has been conferred with the Chieftaincy Title of Yeye Atuluse (Community Developer) of Ogidi Land in Ijumu Local Government Area.

The Title was conferred at the 10th Ogidi Day Festival by the Ologidi of Ogidi, Oba Rabiu Sule in the presence of her Husband, friends and Associate.

Oba Sule noted that the Girl Child Education Advocate used her office to facilitate the building of four blocks of classrooms to the community, hence the Title.

He said the honour was also in recognition of her contributions to the development of the Community which is noted is commendable.

Responding, the New Yeye Atuluse of Ogidi land, Chief Ebun Joel thanked the Kabiyesi and people of Ogidi for the title.

Chief Joel expressed appreciation for the privilege, saying the honour will spur her to do more for humanity.

“Honestly i don’t know what i have done to deserve the love i got in Ogidi today, but i thank God and the Ogidi people for this honour.”
