Olujumu, Olu Aiyegunle Gbede Give Royal Blessings to KCOET Mopa

The Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom, Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni and the Olu of Ayegunle Gbede, Oba Lateef Folorunsho Haruna joined the Elulu of Mopa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Olumuyiwa Ibeun in celebrating the official commencement of academic activities at the Kogi State College of Education (Technical).

 

The Provost of the College, Mrs. Jagboro Victoria Olushola was on ground to receive the Royal fathers.

 

The event marked a significant milestone for the institution which after the relocation of the school by the Kogi State Government under the leadership of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, former Governor of Kogi State.

 

The college which was previously located in Kabba was relocated to Mopa following the establishment of Kogi State University in Kabba.

 

Traditional leaders and dignitaries expressed their enthusiasm for the new academic year and the potential benefits the college’s relocation would bring to the Mopa community.

 

Their participation underscored the importance of educational development in the region and the commitment of local authorities to supporting such initiatives.

 

The relocation to Mopa is expected to enhance the educational landscape of the area, providing new opportunities for students and strengthening the local economy. The ceremony’s success highlighted the collaborative effort between the government and traditional institutions in fostering educational growth.
