Kogi State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd) on Saturday met with Bunu Hunters where he reaffirmed the commitment of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to the security of lives and property.
According to a statement by Charles Olukunle, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Security Adviser, the meeting which was held at Oke-Offin was to discuss prevailing security challenges and efforts to address them.

Speaking, Jerry Omodara, the State Security Adviser, commended the hunters and charged them to up their games in the battle against criminal elements in the State.
He stressed that there was a need to strengthen the process of information and intelligence gathering and synergy among security units in the State.
Going further, he noted that amongst all achievements and successes of the Governor Ododo-led administration so far, he said that security tops the rank and will do what it takes to ensure the people of the State live in peace.
Commander Jerry Omodara reiterates Governor Ododo’s commitment and total support to security sector, ensuring that security men and hunters discharge their duties effectively.
He assured that the administration of His Excellency, Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State, will support security efforts and engage the community to rid Kogi State of criminality.
The hunters reported progress in addressing security challenges, attributing their success to divine guidance and the Security Adviser’s support. They emphasized on the importance of collaboration and urged traditional rulers to promptly report security incidents to them.
