Otunba Arogundade Bags Okun Man of Honour Award

A Philanthropist, Otunba APS Arogundade on Thursday was conferred with the Okun Man of Honour Award by Okun Ladies Association, an umbrella body of Okun Women Worldwide.

 

The Award was presented to the Programme Manager of APS Youth Foundation, Hon. Solomon Oyewole on behalf of the Community Development Enthusiast at the Roundtable organized by the Association in Lokoja, Kogi State Capital.

Otunba Arogundade is the Founder of APS Youth Foundation, a Non Governmental Organization that has invested in youths and women especially in the Area of Education and Empowerment.

As a Man that has not held Political Office at any point in time, he has continue to put smile on the faces of many young Nigerians, widows and the less privileged in the society.

The President of Okun Ladies Association, Chief Josephine Medupin noted that the honour was conferred on the Philanthropist following his antecedents of humility, honesty and utmost commitment to the well being of the people.

She said the Association has monitored closely the activities of Otunba Arogundade which according to her are geared towards emancipation of humanity.

 

Chief Medupin charged him to sustain his good work as all men will give account of their stewardship before God.

Responding, Otunba Arogundade thanked the Association for the Honour and announced a donation of N200,000 for the construction of Skill Acquisition Centre at Kabba.

According to him, the honour will spur him to do more for God and humanity.
