The Director General, National Council of Arts and Culture (NCAC), Otunba Olusegun Runsewe is set to bag a fellow of Hospitality and Tourism Management Association of Nigeria (HATMAN) Award.
The President of HATMAN, Mr Samson Aturu made this known when he led leadership of the Association on a Courtesy Visit to the Director General in his Office in Abuja.
Mr. Aturu said the recognition was in support of the Director General’s love and support towards the growth of the Tourism Industry.
The President said the visit was to intimate the Otunba Runsewe of the forthcoming conference of the Association, scheduled to hold on the 27th of October, 2022 at the Rockview Hotel.
Responding, the NCAC Boss, Otunba Olusegun Runsewe thanked the Association for the honour, saying he is always proud to identify with the body.
He commended the role of HATMAN has been playing in developing the Tourism sector through capacity building, assuring of the support of his office.
Otunba Runsewe also lauded the Executives and members of the Association for being a credible and professional body, urging them to sustain the good spirit.
He specifically commended the efforts of Alh Badaki Aliyu, the Immediate Past President for his unflinching support to the growth of Tourism in Nigeria.
The Director General however noted that if government and relevant authorities could support the association, the Tourism industry will be better and envious by other countries.
