Pioneer Chairman, EACDA North America, Mr. Peter Hambolu, for Omo-Atata Hall of Fame

Mr. Peter Hambolu, the first branch chairman of Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association, North America, has earned the prestigious Omo-Atata Award at this year’s Ekinrin-Adde Day celebration.

This was disclosed by the EACDA National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Ajibola Ogungbuyi.

According to the statement, Mr. Peter Hambolu is a passionate lover of his community who has done so much to deserve the induction into the Hall of Fame.

Peter Hambolu was born on September 9, 1974, in the serene town of Ekinrin-Adde, Kogi State, Nigeria. He is a distinguished community leader and public servant recognized for his steadfast dedication to service. He was born into the respected family of Chief and Mrs. Gabriel Hambolu, whose values of integrity and commitment to community shaped his path in life.

Peter began his educational journey at Baptist Primary School in Ekinrin-Adde and later attended Community Comprehensive College (CCC) for his secondary education. Before pursuing higher studies, he briefly entered the workforce, gaining valuable experience that fueled his ambition. He went on to earn a degree in Business Administration from the University of Abuja, equipping him with the academic foundation to pursue a career in public service.

His professional journey began in the Nigerian Presidency, where he served as a Senior Executive Officer. His performance and dedication earned him a role on the Committee of Inquiry into Federal Government Land and Property, where he contributed meaningfully to national development efforts.

In the course of his work, Peter met his beloved wife while still in Nigeria. Peter moved with his family to the United States, where he served as a Personal Assistant to the Nigerian Ambassador. He subsequently held various roles at the Nigerian Embassy in Washington, D.C., continuing his service with professionalism and excellence.

Peter’s commitment and dedication to community earned him the position as the first chairman of Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association North America chapter. The position he dutifully served for five year winning branch award and many accolades.

Peter Hambolu is married with lovely children.
