The Pioneer Chairman of Kogi State Board of Internal Revenue, Chief James Olatunji Awoniyi is dead.
Chief Awoniyi died in March in an illness at the National Hospital Abuja at the age of 70.
Burial arrangements according to a Family statement explained that Christian Wake holds on 26th May 2022 at Takete Compound, Ponyan, Yagba East Local Government Area at 4pm.
Interment takes place the following day at same venue at 8am, to be followed by a Thanksgiving Service 2nd ECWA Oke-Odo Ponyan at 10am, while reception follows immediately at Ponyan Civic Centre.
Late Chief James Olatunji Awoniyi until his death was a former Commissioner in Kogi State and an Agriculture Expert who facilitated the Alape Crop Processing Zone at Odo-Ape, Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area.
