The Olu Adde of Ekinrin Adde, Olu Anthony Bamigbaye Idowu, CON has commended the immediate Past Vice Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi for his brilliant performance in years in office.
Olu Bamigbaye in an Interview with Newsmen during the inauguration of the new Vice Chancellor, Prof. Gbenga Ibileye, expressed optimism that the new Vice Chancellor will consolidate with the performance of Prof. Akinwumi.
According to him, Prof. Akinwumi and Prof. Ibileye are illustrious sons of the Community, who have succeeded in their chosen careers.
The Olu Adde stated that Ekinrin Adde Community is proud of the two Scholars of repute.
“I’m highly excited and this has really shown that with God, all things are possible. The outgoing Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi and the new one, Prof. Gbenga Ibileye are my respectable subjects from the same Community.
“This is simply God at work and we pray that his achievements will surpass that of Prof. Akinwumi and by the grace of God, everyone will cooperate with him.
He expressed appreciation to the Governing Council of the University for the confidence reposed in the new Vice Chancellor.
