Provost of KSCOE Ankpa Solicits Support of Kogi State Ulamau Council, Restates Commitment to Academic Excellence

The Provost of Kogi State College of Education (KSCOE), Ankpa, Dr. Femi Fashagba, on Tuesday received in audience the Chief Imam of Ankpa, and Chairman of the Ulamau Council, Kogi State, Sheikh Alhaji Salman Adam, at his office.

 

The visit provided an opportunity for both leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue on issues relating to moral development, interfaith harmony, and collaborative efforts towards educational and community advancement.

 

Dr. Fashagba welcomed the visit with appreciation, describing it as timely and encouraging.

 

He highlighted the college’s ongoing commitment to promoting values-based education, inclusivity, and peace-building among staff and students.

 

Dr. Fashagba equally used the occasion to highlight some of the modest achievements recorded under his leadership in the last three months.

 

Notable among these achievements are; Installation of industrial bole hole for the College, procurement of motor cycles for campus patrol to enhance college security and fostering of cordial relationship amongst Staffers and Students amongst others.

 

In his remarks, Sheikh Alhaji Salman Adam commended the Provost’s leadership and reaffirmed the support of the Ulamau Council in contributing to the moral and spiritual growth of the institution and the broader community.

 

The visit concluded with a mutual agreement to strengthen ties between the College and the religious community in the interest of societal development.
