Reps Salman Celebrates Olubunu of Bunu @100, 64th Anniversary
Member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Arc Salman Idris has congratulated the Olubunu of Bunu, Oba Joseph Ikusemoro on his 100 years birthday and 64th anniversary on the throne.
Arc. Salman in an interview with Newsmen in Olle-Bunu described the Bunu Paramount Ruler as an upright man, who is known by current and past leaders of the State for saying truth to power.
He said as the oldest Traditional Ruler in Nigeria, the Federal Constituency is proud of the Leadership qualities of the Olubunu.
The Federal Lawmaker who applauded the Bunu Paramount Ruler for piloting the affairs of his domain, rejoiced with the people of Bunu land on the celebration of the Icon Traditional Ruler.
He however expressed delight over the improvement in the security situation of Bunu land which before now was worrisome for the people of the District and Government of Kogi State.
Arc. Salman praised Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for their efforts in restoring peace to Bunu Kingdom, adding that the move has yielded positive results.
