In his usual way of supporting growth and development of his Community, the immediate past Senator representing Kogi West, Smart Adeyemi on Saturday donated 4 tricycles to Iyara community in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The donation was done as part of activities marking the 2023 Iyara Cultural Day over the weekend at Iyara.
The tricycles were presented by the Managing Director of Nigeria Agricultural Insurance Corporation, Mrs. Folashade Joseph.
Senator Adeyemi urged the benefitting quarters in the Community not to sell the tricycles but use it to generate revenue for Iyara Development Association (IDA).
He pledged his continued commitment to the development of Iyara Community and Congratulated the Eleta Oluyara of Iyara, Oba Jacob Meduteni and IDA Executives.
Responding, the National President of IDA, Alh. Aliyu Badaki expressed appreciation to the Senator, describing him as a pride to Iyara Community.
Alh. Badaki urged the people of Iyara to support the former Senator with their prayers and prayed God to reward him.
