The Sanity Multi-Efforts Forum (SMEF) has in strong term a video circulating on the Social Media of an attack on officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
President of the Forum, Prince Dan Olaitan Dada in a statement said while details of the video are still sketchy, rhe attack was needless, calling on security agencies to bring perpetrators to book
In his words, “While details of the incident are still emerging, we unequivocally condemn this act of violence against public servants who work tirelessly to ensure road safety.”
SMEF, led by President Prince Dan Olaitan Dada, stands in solidarity with the FRSC and calls on all citizens to respect and support our security agencies. We urge the authorities to investigate this incident thoroughly and bring the perpetrators to justice.
He further states that “In light of this incident, SMEF calls on the President of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, through the Honourable Minister of Interior, to take immediate action to protect FRSC officers and deter future attacks. We believe a strong stance from the Federal Government will send a clear message that such violence will not be tolerated.”
